Provide Mississippians of all ages reasonable access to healthcare services to help them lead healthy, productive lives.
Effective methods that we have used thus far in achieving this goal include:
  • Promoting the enrollment and retention of eligible recipients in private/state/federally funded health insurance programs.
  • Fostering the development of programs that meet the needs of under-served communities.
  • Bringing focus to the need for full insurance and eliminate health inequalities through incremental health care reform.
