Facilitate the development of informed health policies and support education to better address Mississippi's health
care needs.
Effective methods that we have used thus far in achieving this goal include:
  • Supporting the education of health care providers.
  • Developing broad-based community involvement in addressing health care needs of Mississippians.
  • Advocating for the development of informed public health and rural health policies throughout the state
    of Mississippi.
  • Facilitating partnering with governmental agencies, other private foundations, educational institutions, professional associations and, when feasible, industry, to further the mission and purpose of the Foundation.
